12 Best Wedding Venues in Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak Country (2026 Guide)
Colorado Springs has one of the most famous wedding venues in the West and a working market of ranches, barns and lodges that charge a fraction of it.
The famous one is The Broadmoor, a 5,000-acre resort that has hosted weddings since 1918 and does not publish a price. The working market is everything else: Black Forest lodges under the ponderosas, prairie barns east of town, and Victorian Manitou Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak.
Only six Colorado Springs venues publish a usable starting price, so the median of $4,250 (n=6) is a rough guide rather than a firm figure. The individual rate cards below say more than the median does.
We cataloged 28 wedding venues across Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Monument and the Black Forest. Below are the 12 we would point a couple to first.
Every venue below is in our Colorado Springs wedding venue directory, where you can filter the full list and see published pricing side by side.

The landmarks
1. The Cliff House at Pikes Peak
A historic Victorian hotel in Manitou Springs with packages for 30 to 150 guests. The package fees look low because the real cost is a per-person catering minimum:
- Princess $950 for 30 to 40 guests, with a $60 per person catering minimum
- Emerald $2,100 for 60 to 80, $68 per person, with a junior suite
- Marquise $2,500 for 75 to 150 in the J.S. Morley Ballroom, $84 per person
- Dream Wedding $3,200 for 100 to 150, pavilion ceremony and ballroom reception, $110 per person
So the Dream Wedding for 120 guests is roughly $16,400 before tax and service, not $3,200. That is still reasonable for a full-service hotel wedding with catering, but compare it to other venues' rental plus catering, not to their rental alone.
2. The Broadmoor
The 1918 resort south of downtown, with chapels, lodges, ballrooms, lawns and a mountaintop retreat, for 20 to more than 1,000 guests and 784 rooms for the wedding weekend. Pricing is by proposal only. For a large destination wedding with every guest on site, nothing in the region competes.
3. The Loft Music Venue
A historic industrial loft in Old Colorado City with exposed brick, crystal chandeliers, a professional stage and a hidden 1920s-style speakeasy called The Vault. The BareBricks rental starts at $2,450, Monday to Thursday, 1pm to 11pm, and packages climb to an all-inclusive option with photography, DJ, catering and coordination. A good choice if live music is the center of your wedding.
The Black Forest and the foothills
4. La Foret Conference & Retreat Center
More than 350 acres of ponderosa pines in the Black Forest, with a chapel and two lodges:
- Taylor Memorial Chapel $600, ceremony only, seating 90
- Ponderosa Lodge $2,750 to $3,250 for ceremony and reception, up to 80
- Inglis Hall $3,375 to $3,875, up to 200
Outside catering is allowed, and beer, wine and champagne are permitted. Note the insurance requirement: $1,000,000 in event liability, which is a one-day policy you buy before the date.
5. Pikes Peak Ranch
A secluded mountain property under an hour from Colorado Springs with views of Pikes Peak, Sheep Nose Butte and Pike National Forest, and six cabins sleeping up to 40.
- Elopement $1,200 for 10 or fewer
- Ceremony only $2,000 and micro wedding $3,500 for 25 or fewer
- Full-access wedding $4,500 for more than 25
Weddings over 25 guests carry a two-night cabin minimum, and a professional day-of coordinator is required.
6. Pinecrest Weddings & Event Center
A mountain-style property in Palmer Lake with an event center, a whitewashed chapel and an outdoor ceremony site facing Chautauqua Mountain, each seating up to 225. It prices per person, all-inclusive: Classic $59 to $106, Luxury $79 to $149. At 100 guests that is $5,900 to $14,900, with the option to bring in your own vendors.
7. The Edgewood Inn
A five-room geothermal bed and breakfast on five acres overlooking Pikes Peak, with a covered pavilion, a hickory dance floor, a saloon-style bar and a private movie theater.
- One-day package from $7,810 for up to 100, tax included
- Three-day package from $10,257, with all five rooms for 14 guests for two nights
You must use an approved caterer and bring your own DJ, and amplified music ends at 10pm.
8. The Lodge at Cathedral Pines
A private lodge in the Black Forest with ponds, a bridge, streams and a waterfall feature, and both venue-only and all-inclusive packages for up to 175. Pricing on request.
Ranches and barns
9. Hillside Gardens & Event Center
Four acres of gardens in Colorado Springs with Pikes Peak views, a covered pavilion and a vintage truck bar. It sells time blocks, which makes the brunch wedding the standout value:
- Brunch wedding $4,200, 8am to 2:30pm, even on a Saturday
- Evening wedding $4,900 Monday to Thursday, $5,600 Friday or Sunday, $6,000 Saturday
- Full day $6,000 to $7,700
A Saturday brunch wedding costs $3,500 less than a Saturday full day, and a morning ceremony also avoids the afternoon storms.
10. 3 Cord Meadows
A country-chic barn on the open prairie about 30 minutes east of the city, with Front Range views. $4,300 Monday to Thursday, $4,750 Friday to Sunday, for 10 hours with up to 125 guests, and a venue manager, a day-of coordinator and a two-hour rehearsal included.
11. Still Waters Ranch
A small barn venue with campfire celebrations and year-round availability. $4,500 for eight hours, with tables, linens, a dance floor and getting-ready spaces, for up to 75 guests.
12. Younger Ranch
A fifth-generation cattle ranch established in 1914, with hay meadows, old barns, Pikes Peak views, horse-drawn carriages and Texas Longhorns. It hosts a limited number of weddings and only from May to October, for up to 150. Pricing on request.
Others worth a look
Red Rocks Barn allows outside catering at no extra charge and discounts by day and season. Double Diamond Ranch gives you 15 hours in total, including a rehearsal block the day before, with an open vendor policy. Flying W Ranch is the chuckwagon-supper ranch, with red rocks and an amphitheater. The Club at Flying Horse has terraces, a stone wine tower and no membership requirement. And The Carter Payne downtown is an 1897 building that was the first African American church in Colorado Springs.
How to shop Colorado Springs venues
Turn every package into a total. The Cliff House's $950 to $3,200 packages and Pinecrest's per-person rates are not comparable to a barn's rental fee until you multiply out the guest count. Do the math for your real number before you shortlist.
Look at the morning. Hillside Gardens' Saturday brunch wedding at $4,200 is the cheapest prime-date option in the region, and summer storms over Pikes Peak usually build in the afternoon, not the morning.
Read the insurance and lodging terms. La Foret requires $1,000,000 in liability coverage, Pikes Peak Ranch requires a two-night cabin minimum above 25 guests, and The Edgewood Inn's three-day package includes the lodging. Each of those changes the total.
Watch the fire season. The Black Forest and the foothills west of town have a real wildfire history, and summer fire restrictions can rule out open flames, sparklers and fire pits. Ask each venue what is allowed in July and August. Our venue tour questions cover the general version.
Our venue checklist covers the rest, and what a wedding venue costs explains how venue pricing is structured.
