15 Best Wedding Venues in Denver and the Front Range (2026 Guide)
Denver is not where Colorado wedding prices get expensive. The mountains are.
The metro's median published venue starting package is $3,500 (n=31), at the low end of a state whose typical venue runs $4,000 to $8,000. The resort towns along I-70 and in the Roaring Fork Valley are what pull the state figure up. Denver itself is a deep, competitive city market with a lot of venues willing to put their prices on the website.
What Denver does have is a steep calendar. The same mansion can cost two and a half times as much on a June Saturday as on a Thursday in March, and that swing is bigger than the difference between most of the venues below.
We cataloged 106 wedding venues across Denver and the surrounding Front Range. Below are the 15 we would point a couple to first.
Every venue below is in our Denver wedding venue directory, where you can filter the full list and see published pricing side by side.

The historic mansions
1. Boettcher Mansion
A National Register-listed mansion on Lookout Mountain, run by Jefferson County Parks & Open Space, at 7,550 feet with a 150-guest wedding capacity. The full rate card is published:
- Thursday $3,500 (November to April), $4,000 (May to October)
- Friday or Sunday $5,000 off season, $6,000 in season
- Saturday $6,000 off season, $8,000 in season
- Gazebo-only ceremony $300
The mansion package covers the main house, the Carriage House and the gazebo, with three hours of prep, five hours of event time and an hour of cleanup. You can hire any vendors, with a fee for caterers off the preferred list.
This is the clearest demonstration of how Denver pricing works: the same building runs from $3,500 to $8,000 depending only on the day and the month.
2. Highlands Ranch Mansion
A 27,000-square-foot historic mansion with mountain views and a Great Hall seating 250. Published by season and day:
- Monday to Thursday $3,475 (January to April), $4,800 (May to December)
- Sunday $4,850 / $6,700
- Friday $6,175 / $7,350
- Saturday $7,575 / $8,700
Every rate is a five-hour event plus setup and cleanup. Two requirements add cost: an approved full-service caterer, and an insured professional planner or day-of coordinator. Budget for the coordinator before you compare this to a venue that includes one.
3. The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens
A restored Victorian mansion of nearly 10,000 square feet in north Denver, with a third-floor ballroom, parlors and gardens. Weddings take over the whole mansion with in-house catering for up to 150, and five guest suites go to the wedding party.
- Off season (January to April, November): $5,000 Monday to Thursday, $7,000 Friday to Sunday
- Peak season (May to October, December): $6,000 / $9,000
- Elopement package $2,250, with an overnight stay, private dinner and breakfast
- Planning fee $1,000
Two things to know before you tour. The ballroom is on the third floor with no elevator, and neighborhood rules end the party at 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends.
4. Grant-Humphreys Mansion
A 1902 Beaux-Arts estate beside the Governor's Mansion, with a ballroom, library, sunroom, a vintage bowling alley and a neoclassical terrace. Up to 200 for a cocktail reception or 180 seated. It rents at a flat rate for the whole property, though the figure is not on the website.
Downtown and the arts districts
5. Moss Denver
A 1900s electric factory in the Santa Fe Art District, rented as a full building buyout. The Chandelier Room seats 200 for dinner and the Edison Room has a glass ceiling, moss walls and a waterfall bar.
- Weekdays $3,500, December weekdays $4,500
- Saturdays $6,500 in the Intimate Season, $8,000 in the Premier Season
The season definitions are worth reading closely. Moss's lower-priced season is January to May plus July, and its premium season includes December. A July Saturday here costs $1,500 less than a June one.
6. Asterisk
A restored 1920s post office garage downtown, with an 8,500-square-foot main hall under steel trusses and skylights, plus a rooftop with city views.
- Wedding package $4,500 Sunday to Thursday, $6,000 Friday, $7,000 Saturday
- Rooftop elopement or ceremony only $2,000, up to 50 chairs, three hours
7. Space Gallery
A renovated 1960s warehouse with loft windows, a 3,000-square-foot gallery, a sculpture garden and a rooftop patio. Two rooms, both priced for eight hours:
- Space Annex $3,000 Monday to Thursday, up to $5,000 Saturday
- Space Gallery $4,000 Monday to Thursday, up to $6,500 Saturday
Tables, chairs, AV and a green room are included. The venue describes itself as an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ couples.
8. Realm Denver
A natural-light studio venue with 2,500 square feet inside and a 1,000-square-foot patio, BYOB with a licensed bartender, and food trucks allowed.
- Reception only (7 hours): $2,450 Monday to Thursday, $4,550 Saturday
- Ceremony and reception (9 hours): $3,150 Monday to Thursday, $5,850 Saturday
At $4,550 for a Saturday reception with your own alcohol, this is one of the more affordable ways into a good-looking city room.
9. Clock Tower Events
Five decorated floors at the top of the 1910 Daniels & Fisher Tower on the 16th Street Mall, with two wraparound balconies and the clock faces themselves.
- Micro wedding for up to 30: $3,000 weekdays, $3,500 weekends
- Full wedding $4,000 Monday to Thursday, $5,000 Friday and Sunday, $6,000 Saturday
The seated ceremony capacity inside the clock is 46, so this is a small-wedding venue. You can bring your own alcohol, but a licensed caterer or bartender has to serve it.
10. Curtis Ballroom
A modern ballroom seating 200, with a built-in bar and a rooftop patio with a gas fireplace. With in-house catering there is no rental fee, only a per-person food minimum. With an approved outside caterer, room rental runs $4,000 Monday to Wednesday up to $7,000 on a Saturday.
The foothills, within an hour
11. The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park
A historic three-level barn in a 100-acre park with a reservoir and resident buffalo, elk and fallow deer. Rates run by day and by block:
- Monday to Thursday $4,500 for 8 hours, up to $5,500 for 12
- Sunday $6,000 for 8 hours
- Saturday $7,000 for 8 hours
The catering policy is the most flexible on this list: full service, food trucks, drop-off, or food your family cooks, with staffing and bartending rules. The recommended guest count is under 200.
12. Evergreen Lake House
A log lodge on Evergreen Lake run by the local recreation district, available in 8 or 10-hour blocks. An off-season weekday in the Octagon Great Room starts at $1,750, and both rooms on an off-season Sunday run $5,500 to $6,500. Up to 100 ceremony chairs and a district staff member are included; linens and place settings are not, and a non-preferred caterer costs $1,000.
13. Christies of Genesee
A mountain venue off I-70 with Continental Divide views to the west and the city to the east. The price covers five hours of exclusive use with in-house catering, wait staff, bartenders, linens and centerpieces:
- $2,200 Monday to Wednesday, $2,600 Thursday
- $2,800 Saturday daytime or Sunday
- $3,600 Saturday night
- Ceremony from $400
You bring the officiant, cake and photographer. With catering inside the price, this is one of the best values in the metro, and the 150-guest cap is the trade-off.
14. North Star Gatherings
A solar-powered modern venue on a former mining claim near Idaho Springs, just under 9,000 feet, with a ceremony deck facing the Continental Divide and a window-lined Great Hall.
- Weekday, November or April $9,100, Friday $10,000, Saturday $10,500, all for 12 hours
- All-inclusive from $29,000, with shuttles, coordination, buffet catering and a beer and wine bar
Approved caterers, bartenders and a professional coordinator from the venue's list are required. This is the top of the Front Range market and it prices like the mountains, because it is in them.
15. Idlewild Ridge
A private mountain estate beside Pike National Forest, sold as a whole weekend: $10,500 for two nights, with lodging for about 16 in a three-bedroom cabin, a historic one-room cabin and four glamping tents, plus a barn reception for up to 100 and three ceremony sites. There are no vendor restrictions, wedding insurance is required, and guests over 100 are $10 each.
For a small wedding where everyone stays on site, the weekend price is easier to justify than it first looks.
Others worth a look
The Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield is a French-style mansion built only for weddings, with packages from $5,000 and room for 300. Bonnie Blues Event Venue publishes an exclusive barn package from $5,000 off season to $10,000 on a peak Saturday. Spruce Mountain Events includes 11 consecutive hours, with peak Saturdays at $10,750 and elopements at $2,000. The Franciscan Event Center in Centennial prices per person, $40 to $55 for the venue package or $70 to $95 with catering, and includes an indoor backup for every outdoor ceremony. Bella Sera Event Center is all-inclusive from $11,995 for 100 guests, with catering, DJ, decor and tax in the price. Three Trees Chapel in Littleton books two-hour ceremonies from $950.

How to shop Denver venues
Pick the day before the venue. Boettcher Mansion runs $3,500 to $8,000 and Highlands Ranch Mansion $3,475 to $8,700, purely on day and season. A Friday or Sunday saves $1,000 to $2,000 at most venues here. A Thursday in April saves more than switching venues does.
Read each venue's season definition. They do not agree. Boettcher's peak is May to October. Highlands Ranch counts May to December. The Lumber Baron puts December in peak, and Moss Denver puts July in its cheaper season. The month that is off-peak at one venue is peak at the next.
Price the required extras. Highlands Ranch Mansion requires a professional coordinator and an approved caterer. North Star requires a coordinator from its list. Several venues require their own bar service. A rental fee that looks $1,000 cheaper can stop being cheaper once those are added.
Ask about the end time. Residential neighborhoods and historic properties carry hard cutoffs, like the Lumber Baron's 10pm on weekdays. If you want a late party, ask before you fall for the building.
Mind the altitude above the city. Lookout Mountain is 7,550 feet and the Idaho Springs venues sit near 9,000. Guests flying in from sea level feel it, especially with alcohol. Put water on every table and keep the ceremony short in the sun. Summer afternoons in the foothills also bring regular thunderstorms, so an outdoor ceremony needs a real indoor plan, which our venue tour questions cover.
Our venue checklist covers the rest, and what a wedding venue costs explains how venue pricing is structured.
