Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Wedding Dossier ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What we provide

The Wedding Dossier generates personalized wedding vendor recommendations based on the preferences you submit. We aggregate publicly available information about wedding vendors, score it against your inputs, and present a ranked shortlist.

Free during beta

The Service is currently free to use during our beta period. We may introduce paid plans in the future, with notice to existing users before any charge.

Vendor information — accuracy and independence

• Vendor data is gathered from publicly available sources (websites, listings, public reviews). We do our best to keep it current and accurate, but we do not guarantee that pricing, availability, capacity, services, or any other detail is up-to-date.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in a paid partnership with the vendors we list, and we do not receive commissions on bookings. Recommendations reflect our scoring algorithm only.
• Always confirm price, availability, and any other material detail directly with the vendor before making a commitment.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding so we can recommend appropriately.
• You may delete your account at any time by emailing the address below.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download our recommendations or vendor data.
• Reverse-engineer or otherwise attempt to extract our scoring algorithm.
• Use the Service to harass vendors or other users.
• Misrepresent your identity or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that recommendations will result in a successful booking, that vendors will be available on your wedding date, or that the Service will be free from interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies. The Service is a research aid — your booking decisions are your own.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Wedding Dossier is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to disputes with vendors, cancellations, or losses related to wedding planning.

Changes

We may update or discontinue the Service, or modify these terms, at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
