14 Best Wedding Venues in Fort Collins, Loveland and Estes Park (2026 Guide)
Northern Colorado is really two wedding markets sharing one region.
On the plains, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Windsor have barns, historic houses and converted mills at Front Range prices. Up the canyon, Estes Park sits at the door of Rocky Mountain National Park and prices like a mountain town. A couple can book either and tell guests they are getting married "in Northern Colorado", and the bills will look nothing alike.
Across the region the median published venue starting package is $4,000 (n=14), a little above Denver's $3,500. The Estes Park lodges, where a full wedding runs $7,200 to $13,300, sit at the top of that range. The plains venues mostly sit below it.
We cataloged 58 wedding venues across Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor and Estes Park. Below are the 14 we would point a couple to first.
Every venue below is in our Fort Collins wedding venue directory, where you can filter the full list and see published pricing side by side.

On the plains
1. The Mill Event Venue
The top floor of the 1899 Windsor Mill, restored and opened in late 2020, with exposed brick, vaulted ceilings and a balcony over Windsor Lake. Every rate is all day, ceremony and reception:
- Monday to Thursday from $3,500, Sunday $4,500, Friday $5,500, Saturday $6,500
- Reception only $500 less
- Bridal house $300, day-of coordination $600 to $800
- Beer, wine and seltzer service $25 per guest, $35 with simple cocktails
Outside vendors carry no extra fee. That per-guest bar price is a useful benchmark when you compare other venues' bar minimums.
2. Dreams & Dragonflies
A family farm about a mile off I-25 near Johnstown, with a 3,800-square-foot climate-controlled vintage barn and mountain views across the hay fields. One package, two prices: $4,500 November to April, $5,500 May to October, for 11am to 10pm.
It includes 100 ceremony chairs, three arch options, Chiavari chairs, linens, a large decor collection and a day-of coordinator, which plenty of venues at this price charge extra for.
3. Lone Tree Creek Event Center
A rustic barn on six acres beside a creek, open since 2019. The 2027 pricing is by guest count: $4,000 for up to 50, $5,000 for up to 100, for eight hours, then $300 an hour.
4. Strauss Cabin Farmhouse
A modern farmhouse with pond and creek views, a bridal loft and a built-in weather plan. Micro and intimate weddings from $3,600, with a coordinator and staff, and up to 125 guests on larger packages. No alcohol minimum.
5. The Arabella
A 9,000-square-foot indoor venue in Greeley with two halls and two suites. It publishes every tier:
- Micro wedding $1,800 all-inclusive, up to 50 guests for three hours with an arch and a floral package
- The Signature from $3,000, up to 50 for six hours
- The Classic from $5,000, up to 100 for eight hours
- The Arabella from $6,500, the whole venue for 150 for 10 hours
- $35 per guest from 151 to 200
Being indoors is the point: no weather plan needed, any month.
6. Ptarmigan Country Club
A private club with a Jack Nicklaus course and a wedding room for 160, or about 220 with the patio. Room rental $4,000, including plates, silverware and basic linens, with no food or beverage minimum. Alcohol has to come through the club.
7. Rockin' S Ranch

8. River Fort Ranch
A riverfront ranch near Greeley with a climate-controlled luxury barn, a historic lodge and on-site lodging for up to 60 guests. Packages include two bartenders and a day-of coordinator:
- Micro wedding $7,260, under 40, no Saturdays
- Off-peak weekday $9,990, peak weekday $11,230
- Off-peak weekend $13,320, peak weekend $15,135, sold as a full weekend
The site calls itself a low-altitude ranch, which is a real selling point if older relatives are flying in from sea level.
9. The Hillside Vineyard & Event Center
A private vineyard estate near Fort Collins with mountain views and a 12-hour rental. Its packages bundle vendor allowances, so read them as near-complete weddings:
- Toast $18,550, with $4,000 catering, $750 florals, $1,400 DJ and $3,400 photography

10. The Landing at Estes Park
A locally owned riverside property just outside Rocky Mountain National Park, with a 3,000-square-foot hall, a riverfront ceremony site and a deck over the water, for up to 100 guests. Ceremony and reception run $7,200 off season (late November to April), $7,700 in May and early November, $7,900 from June to October, with higher tiers up to $13,300. 12. Venue on the Rocks
A family-run riverside venue on the Big Thompson River, with a string-lit covered pavilion, fire pits and heaters, for up to 200. The Island at Pelican Lakes in Windsor is a four-acre private island reached by a stone bridge, hosting weddings since 2002. Stove Prairie Ranch in Bellvue gives 12 or more hours of exclusive use with a stone gazebo and a natural rock amphitheater. Casa Sagrada is a renovated century-old church in downtown Loveland. How to shop Northern Colorado venues
Decide plains or mountains first. It changes the price, the drive and the weather. The Mill's Saturday is $6,500; a peak Saturday at The Landing in Estes Park runs past that before anyone has eaten. Many couples split the difference by taking photos in the canyon and holding the reception on the plains.
Count the coordinator. Dreams & Dragonflies, Rockin' S Ranch, River Fort Ranch and Copper Falls include one. Taharaa and The Hillside Vineyard require you to hire one. The Mill sells it at $600 to $800. That is a real line on the budget.
Check the fall calendar in Estes Park. Late summer and fall are the town's busiest season, and Taharaa charges most from August to October. Book guest lodging when you book the venue.
Ask about the canyon road and the weather. The Big Thompson canyon is a narrow mountain road, and an October snow is not unusual at Estes Park's elevation. Ask each mountain venue for its weather plan and how guests get there safely after dark. Our venue tour questions cover the general version.
Our venue checklist covers the rest, and what a wedding venue costs explains how venue pricing is structured.
