Oakland and Shadyside

1. Heinz Memorial Chapel

The chapel on the University of Pittsburgh campus, open to couples of any faith with no Pitt connection required. Two coordinators, an organist and a rehearsal are included; fees are on its wedding calendar pages.

2. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

The conservatory in Schenley Park, whose flower shows date to 1893, which hosts weddings among its plant collections and the Palm Court. Pricing on request.

3. The Mansions on Fifth

A boutique hotel in historic mansions on Fifth Avenue. Packages bundle dinner and an open bar, from a cocktail reception to a four-course Gold package, with a McCook package from January to April and a Summer Solstice package from June to August. Pricing on request.

Downtown and the Strip District

4. Wintergarden at PPG Place

An 8,000-square-foot glass-enclosed, plant-filled hall in PPG Place downtown, for 300 seated or 400 for cocktails, available any day. Pricing on request.

5. Franklin on Penn

A venue on Penn Avenue with tall ceilings, white pillars, chandeliers and large windows, for up to 250. Weddings of 100 or more start at $10,500, with 12 hours of access, valet parking and a day-of coordinator.

6. The Art Room

A 4,000-square-foot Strip District space on Smallman Street, opened in 2019, that pairs factory-style bones with contemporary design. Custom packages; pricing on request.

7. Gateway Clipper Fleet

Riverboats on the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio from Station Square, with the Empress for 260 at dinner. The Premier Wedding Package is $160 a person for four and a half hours, plus service charge and tax, and a top-deck ceremony is $2,000 more.

North: Butler County

8. Pinehall at Eisler Farms

A red barn in Butler for 180, with a ceremony site under two beech trees and a getting-ready cottage. A Saturday reception is $7,900, a Friday $4,900 and Sunday to Thursday $3,900, plus $1,000 for the ceremony; you supply the alcohol and catering is through Medure's.

9. Twelve Oaks Mansion

A family-run mansion venue in Mars with a ballroom, a patio, staircases and gazebos, and chef-made menus. Pricing is in its 2027 and 2028 guide.

South: Washington County

10. Bramblewood

A farm-to-table venue at Simmons Hickory Farm in McDonald, with a lakeside ceremony site and a barn for 275 on Saturdays. A 2026-2027 Saturday is $13,400 for up to 200 guests, a Friday $8,900 and a Sunday $8,400 for up to 100, with a day-of coordinator; September and October are $500 more.
