7 Best Wedding Venues in Northwest Indiana (2026 Guide)

·4 min read

Northwest Indiana sits across the state line from Chicago, and many couples here are pricing it against the city. For the same Saturday, it is usually cheaper.

The region runs from banquet halls in Lake County to orchards and farms around Valparaiso and the beaches of the Indiana Dunes. Its median published starting price is $4,000 (n=11).

We cataloged 70 wedding venues across Crown Point, Valparaiso, Hobart, Merrillville, Chesterton, Michigan City and La Porte. Below are the 7 we would point a couple to first, each checked against the venue's own site.

Every venue below is in our Northwest Indiana wedding venue directory, where you can filter the full list and see published pricing side by side.
