How to shop St. Louis venues

Ask what the Saturday rule is. Haue Valley keeps prime Saturdays for all-inclusive weddings and Shire Lane books only full weekends. Fridays and Sundays are often the better deal.

Price the whole night, not the room. Lemp Mansion and Villa Antonio publish per-guest food and bar costs, which is where most of a St. Louis budget goes.

Have a weather plan. The Lalumondiere has no rain contingency and the World's Fair Pavilion is open-air. Our venue tour questions cover what to ask.

Our venue checklist covers the rest of the shopping list, and what a wedding venue costs explains how venue pricing is structured.
