15 Best Wedding Venues in College Station & the Brazos Valley (2026 Guide)

·6 min read

Before you look at a single venue in the Brazos Valley, look at the Texas A&M football schedule.

This is not the usual "check for conflicts" advice. College Station is a town of about 120,000 that hosts more than 100,000 people on a home Saturday. On those dates there is effectively no hotel inventory in the Brazos Valley at any price, and the shortage extends well out into the surrounding towns. Home games run September through November, straight through the best wedding weather of the year, and they take roughly half of those Saturdays.

If your guest list is travelling, the football calendar decides your date. The venue decision comes second.

With that out of the way, this is a good and reasonably priced market. Brazos Valley venues publish a median starting package of $3,250 (n=23), below the state median of $3,500 and well below Houston, 90 minutes south. The region splits into two distinct halves: the Bryan and College Station market built around the university, and the Brenham and Washington County countryside, which is Texas wildflower country and prices like a destination.

We cataloged 72 wedding venues across the Brazos Valley. Below are the 15 we would point a couple to first.

Every venue below is in our the Brazos Valley wedding venue directory, where you can filter the full list and see published pricing side by side.

The venues that publish real numbers

1. Peach Creek Ranch

A premium venue in College Station with a lakeside ceremony site, a luxury barn reception, and on-site lodging for 34-plus guests. Capacity 1 to 400, 4.9 stars.

The most useful rate card in the region, because it prices by length of access rather than just by day:

Package Price
Sunday, 24 hours $5,000
Weekday, 48 hours $5,500
Friday 48 hours, or Saturday 24 hours $8,500
Saturday, 48 hours $16,000

The Barndominium lodging add-on for 28-plus guests is $1,500.

That table is worth studying. A weekday 48-hour buyout at $5,500 costs a third of the Saturday equivalent and gives you the same two days. If your guests can take a Thursday and Friday, this is one of the largest available savings in Texas.

2. The Weinberg at Wixon Valley

A venue in Bryan with a grand indoor hall, a chapel, outdoor ceremony spaces and scenic grounds. Capacity to 450.

Weekend rental runs $9,500 to $14,500. Weekday weddings are $7,000. Pricing varies with the hours of access needed.

The largest chapel-and-grand-hall combination in the region, and the top of the published Brazos Valley market.

3. At The Shire

An outdoor venue in the Piney Woods near Huntsville, built around connected Nordic tipis for the reception, with a wooded ceremony area on 33 acres. Capacity to 150, 4.9 stars.

Venue pricing runs $4,700 to $7,700.

Genuinely unlike anything else in Texas. The tipis are the reason to book it, and they solve the weather problem that most outdoor venues in this region handle with a tent.

4. 7F Lodge & Events

A family-owned venue and bed and breakfast with a little white chapel, a covered pavilion, indoor climate-controlled space and themed cabin lodging. Capacity 12 to 250, 4.9 stars.

The most complete small-to-mid wedding weekend package near campus, and the cabins are a genuine draw rather than an afterthought.

5. Messina Hof Estate Winery

A family-owned winery estate in Bryan with private event spaces, vineyard views, on-site dining and a bed and breakfast. Spaces include the Barrel Haus, the Gallery, the Cellar Room and a vineyard gazebo. Capacity to 150.

The Brazos Valley's wine country option, and the Cellar Room is a distinctive space for a rehearsal dinner even if the wedding is elsewhere.

6. The Gardens at Texas A&M University

A 27-acre public teaching garden on A&M's West Campus, renting garden spaces and a climate-controlled pavilion. Capacity 10 to 800, 4.8 stars.

For an Aggie couple this is the obvious emotional choice, and the capacity range means it works for a 20-person ceremony or an 800-person reception. Pricing comes from the AgriLife Events team.

7. Phillips Event Center

A full-service venue between Bryan and College Station with multiple ballrooms, golf course views and in-house catering. Capacity 70 to 580. The largest conventional ballroom option in the immediate area.

8. Brownstone Reserve

A family-operated venue in Bryan with indoor and outdoor spaces and free tours. Notably, it advertises flexible pricing that adjusts daily, Monday through Sunday, with a pricing pamphlet available after an inquiry. Worth asking which specific days are cheapest rather than accepting a single quote.

9. Pebble Creek Country Club

A private family-friendly club in College Station with a spacious clubhouse, golf course views, full-service catering, customizable packages and on-site planning. Capacity 50 to 300.

10. Brazos County Expo Complex

A large multi-purpose complex in Bryan with a ballroom, exhibit hall, covered arenas and pavilions. The scale option, and the practical answer for a very large wedding in a region without much large inventory.

Brenham and the countryside

Washington County is the heart of Texas bluebonnet country, and its venues price accordingly in spring.

11. Rockin' Star Ranch

A 150-acre venue in Brenham with a large ballroom, outdoor ceremony options, on-site cabins and ranch amenities. Capacity to 500, 4.9 stars. Pricing on request.

12. Deep in the Heart Farms

A 150-acre Brenham venue with rolling hills, a seasonal creek, oaks and sunset views, offering an on-site chapel, reception hall, bridal and groom suites, and full-day access. Capacity to 350, 4.9 stars.

Two 150-acre, 4.9-star Brenham ranches within a few miles of each other. Tour both; the difference is in the buildings, not the land.

13. Antique Rose Emporium

A rose nursery and display garden in Brenham hosting weddings in an 8-acre garden setting with historic buildings. 4.8 stars.

The most distinctive garden venue in the region and the one that most rewards an April date.

14. Chapelton Vineyards

A winery near Washington, Texas with vineyard views, tastings and private event spaces. Better suited to a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or private reception than a full wedding. Tasting packages run $145 per guest for groups of six to twelve, which gives you a sense of the price level.

15. Woodbine Inn and Restaurant

A historic Victorian inn and restaurant in downtown Madisonville hosting private parties and weddings in its tea room, pub or private dining room. Small-town, intimate, and the right scale for a wedding of 40.

What to ask on a Brazos Valley tour

Ask about the football schedule first, in the same conversation as availability. A venue may have a Saturday open in October precisely because it is a home game and everyone else already ruled it out. Your guests will not find a room.

Ask about length of access, not just the day. Peach Creek prices 24 hours and 48 hours separately, and the gap between a Saturday 24-hour and a Saturday 48-hour is $7,500. Other venues bundle this invisibly.

Ask about weekday rates explicitly. The Weinberg drops from $9,500 to $7,000. Peach Creek drops from $8,500 to $5,500. In a college town, midweek availability is genuinely good and the discounts are large.

In Brenham, ask about bluebonnet weekends. Wildflower peak runs roughly the last week of March into mid-April and moves two to three weeks year to year with autumn rainfall. Washington County venues know exactly what those dates are worth.

Our general venue checklist and venue tour questions cover the rest, and the best months to get married in Texas has the full calendar.
