1. Tudor House at Mason's Cove

A historic lakeside home in New Franklin, at the Portage Lakes, with a Lakeside Conservatory for up to 225, a lakeside gazebo, a woodside chapel and patios. For 2028 dates, a Saturday is $8,500, a Friday $6,500 and Sunday to Thursday $3,500 for 11 hours, plus a required rental package from $2,300. A full Friday-to-Sunday weekend starts at $32,000.

2. 1840 Manor House

A restored 19th-century estate on White Pond Drive with a grove and a courtyard for ceremonies, a ballroom, fire pits, and a carriage house and farmhouse. The 2027 Essentials package is $8,500 on a Saturday, $7,000 on a Friday and $6,000 on a Sunday; the Luxe package, with two two-bedroom cottages, runs to $15,300. Micro weddings start at $3,500.

3. Akron Woman's City Club

A historic house that has been the club's home for more than a century, with a ballroom with Venetian crystal chandeliers and parquet floors, a library turned gallery room and a terrace with a view of downtown. Weddings for up to 150. Pricing on request.

Canton and Stark County

4. Haymaker's Mill 1875

A mill venue in North Canton with the Grand Oak Ballroom for 225, the Mill Room, the Hidden Falls Pavilion and a lounge with a golf simulator. From May to October a Saturday is $7,500, a Friday $6,500 and a Sunday $5,000; from November to April they drop to $5,500, $4,500 and $3,500.

5. The Reserve at Stone Creek

A modern venue in North Canton near the Akron-Canton Airport whose reception room seats 275, with an elevated pergola, an indoor staircase and a window wall for ceremonies, more than 3,000 decor items, and no guest-count or bar minimums. Any licensed caterer may be used.

6. Varian Orchards

An orchard in East Canton with a lakeside ceremony site under a pergola and a forest site with vintage pews. The whole weekend runs $6,000 to $10,000, including a two-night stay, a photo booth, a converted school-bus trolley and the decor inventory.

7. Waters Edge Vineyard

A vineyard venue in Louisville with a great hall, a ballroom, a rathskeller and a pavilion, with weddings Friday to Sunday. Pricing on request.

Hudson and Portage County

8. Case-Barlow Farm

A historic farm on Barlow Road in Hudson with a barn for 200 and an 1831 farmhouse for getting ready, plus a fire pit and patio. Its last published Saturday rate was $5,000 for June, September and October; ask for current rates.

9. Townline Trails Farm

A farm on State Route 82 in Aurora for up to 240, with indoor and outdoor ceremony sites and a covered pavilion. Pricing is by guest count: $6,000 for 125 or fewer, $7,000 up to 175 and $8,000 up to 240, with an on-site ceremony $1,250 more. There are no required vendors.
