12 Best Wedding Venues in Victoria & the Crossroads (2026 Guide)
The Crossroads is the part of Texas where the historic dance halls survived, and that is the reason to get married here.
German and Czech immigrants built social halls across this stretch of South Central Texas in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and a remarkable number are still standing and still hosting weddings. Schneider Hall outside Columbus is a restored 1930s Texas dance hall. KC Hall in Shiner is a Knights of Columbus hall used mainly for weddings. There is nothing comparable in Dallas or Houston, and couples drive here specifically for it.
A caveat on the numbers. Only three Victoria-area venues publish a starting price we can use, and the resulting median of $7,500 would make this the most expensive market in Texas. It plainly is not. Three venues is noise, and the figure is skewed by one high-end all-inclusive property. Ignore it entirely. The individual rate cards below are the real information, and they run from $50 to $22,750.

The historic dance halls
1. Schneider Hall
A restored 1930s Texas dance hall just outside Columbus, with indoor hall space and an outdoor oak tree setting. 4.8 stars.
This is the archetype. Wooden floors built for dancing, a hall with real history, and live oaks outside for the ceremony. If you want a wedding that could not happen anywhere but Texas, start here.
2. KC Hall Shiner
A Knights of Columbus hall in Shiner described as used mainly for weddings, receptions and family gatherings, with a large main hall plus additional meeting spaces.
Shiner is also home to the Spoetzl Brewery, the oldest independent brewery in Texas, which makes the rehearsal-dinner question answer itself.
3. Club Westerner
A spacious indoor event hall in Victoria with a large oak dance floor, a stage, a bar and a catering kitchen. Western, classic, and built for a reception where people actually dance.
4. Knights of Columbus Hallettsville
A community hall hosting weddings, dances and reunions. Hallettsville sits in the heart of Czech Texas, and this is the practical, inexpensive version of the dance hall tradition.
These halls are typically bring-your-own everything: your caterer, your bar, your decor. That is the trade for the price and the character.
The high end
5. The Orchard at Caney Creek
An all-inclusive venue in Wharton with catering, bar and day-of coordination included. Capacity 75 to 200, perfect 5-star rating.
It publishes the most complete guest-count pricing ladder we found anywhere in Texas:

2027 Saturday rates rise to $14,000 for 75 guests and $15,500 for 100.
Remember what these contain. At 100 guests on a Saturday, $15,000 works out to $150 per guest for the venue, the food, the bar and the coordination. Compared against a $4,000 hall plus catering plus bar plus a coordinator, it is not obviously the more expensive choice, and the price certainty is worth something.
6. Belle Oaks Inn
A historic Greek Revival mansion and bed and breakfast in Gonzales. Perfect 5-star rating.
Gonzales is where the Texas Revolution started, and this is the most elegant property in the region. Small, historic and with rooms on site.

7. The PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant and Bar
A historic riverside restaurant and bar in Victoria hosting weddings and receptions indoors and out. Capacity 2 to 200.
The best combination of setting and catering in the city, since the kitchen is already there.
8. Victoria Community Center
A city-run facility with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces including a large dome, an annex, an arena, a conference room and grounds. 4.8 stars.
Published rates, and they are extremely low:
- Conference Room: $50 rental, $50 deposit
- Concession Stand: $200 rental, $100 deposit
- Grounds: $550 per day, $400 deposit
A 25 percent non-refundable down payment is due at signing, with the balance 60 days before the event. $550 for the grounds is the cheapest outdoor wedding space in this entire guide series, and the dome and arena handle genuinely large events.
9. Victoria Country Club
A private club hosting weddings and celebrations in its clubhouse and event spaces. The traditional choice in the city.
10. The Club at Colony Creek
A private golf and country club in Victoria with wedding spaces, catering and on-site coordination. Golf guest fees run $55 on weekdays and $65 on weekends, which gives you a sense of the club's price level.
Historic and outdoor
11. Goliad State Park & Historic Site
A state park and restored Spanish mission that hosts weddings at its chapel, with trails, river access and group facilities, alongside nearby cultural sites. 4.7 stars.
A mission chapel wedding at state park rates is a genuinely special and genuinely inexpensive combination. Book far ahead and confirm exactly what the chapel rental includes.
12. Consider the drive

What to ask on a Crossroads tour
At the dance halls, ask what you have to supply. Most are bring-your-own caterer, bar, tables, linens and decor. That is why they are cheap, and it means your real budget is the hall plus several vendors, most of whom will travel from Victoria, San Antonio or Houston. Get delivery fees quoted early.
Ask about air conditioning and heating. Historic halls vary enormously here, and it decides which months are viable.
At all-inclusive venues, confirm the guest count tier. The Orchard prices in 25-guest bands. Going from 100 to 105 guests moves you a full tier and costs $2,000. Know where your count sits relative to the break.
Ask about the bar rules. In small Texas towns, the county and the venue both have opinions about alcohol service, and some halls require a licensed bartender or specific insurance.
