6 Best Wedding Venues in Prescott and the Quad Cities (2026 Guide)

·4 min read

Prescott is where Phoenix couples go to get married in cooler air.

At about 5,400 feet, the town is 20 to 25 degrees cooler than the Valley in summer, an hour and a half's drive north, with pine forest, granite boulders and a historic courthouse square. Its venues are smaller and simpler than Scottsdale's, and the published prices show it: the median starting price is $3,500 (n=5), a small sample but in line with the rate cards below.

We cataloged 17 wedding venues across Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and the surrounding ranch country. Below are the 6 we would point a couple to first, each checked against the venue's own site.

Every venue below is in our Prescott wedding venue directory, where you can filter the full list and see published pricing side by side.

In town

1. The Grand Highland Hotel

A historic hotel on Whiskey Row, facing the courthouse square, with an open-air courtyard for ceremonies of up to 300 and a brick ballroom for receptions of 150, both step-free.

  • Off-peak and weekdays: from $3,900
  • Peak season (April, May, September, October): from $4,900

Both include the courtyard and ballroom, tables, chairs and ivory linens, access from 11am and a night in the King Honeymoon Suite. Sunday to Thursday is cheaper all year. Outside caterers and food trucks are welcome with no vendor list, but alcohol comes from the hotel's bar. The 12 rooms upstairs can be bought out for the weekend.

2. The Event Center at Sam Hill Warehouse

The 1903 Sam Hill Hardware warehouse, which supplied the region's miners and ranchers, restored with its brick walls, stone piers, wood beams and maple floors. The West Room (2,700 square feet, with original sliding freight doors to the patio) and the East Room (1,300) suit receptions of different sizes, and a restored 1893 railway bridge over Granite Creek links it to the Hilton Garden Inn next door for guests. Pricing on request.

3. The Venue on Cortez

The former Prescott Wedding Chapel, minutes from downtown, with a chapel, a courtyard and a two-bedroom house on the property for an overnight stay. Three wedding packages: The Intimate, $3,250 (up to 50 guests, six hours, Monday to Thursday from May to October), The Vintage, $6,550 and The Eternal Bliss, $8,550. The Intimate includes the chapel and courtyard, the bridal suite, a catering shack, tables, linens and chairs; ask for what the larger two add.

4. Vibrations Event Center

An indoor-outdoor venue for up to 250, with a climate-controlled hall and stage, indoor and outdoor bars, a conversation pit with a fireplace, and a ceremony site by a garden stream and pond. The 2026 rates for up to 175 guests: $3,500 Monday to Thursday, $4,500 Friday or Sunday, $5,500 Saturday, with the whole property, tables, chairs, sound and projectors. The bartender and catering are booked separately, from your own vendors or its referrals.

The ranches

5. Van Dickson Ranch

A ranch in Skull Valley, west of Prescott, with an outdoor ceremony site, a covered pavilion on a grass field for the reception, and private quarters for the couple. The ranch caters with its own smoked tri-tip and chicken, and you get exclusive use of the property from 9am to 11pm. Pricing through the ranch office.

6. Rolling Raven Ranch

A rustic barn ranch in the Prescott National Forest, about 40 minutes from town, with a wraparound patio, a pond and a guest house that sleeps about 12. It is remote, quiet and suited to a small wedding weekend. Pricing on request.

Others worth a look

Mortimer Farms in Dewey-Humboldt has a barn, a grove, silos and a farm park, with farm-to-table menus. Highlands Center for Natural History is a campus in the pines of the Prescott National Forest. And The Warehouse Event Center in Prescott Valley is an indoor hall for 180.

How to shop Prescott venues

Use the summer. Prescott's whole appeal is that June to August are pleasant here, though the monsoon brings afternoon storms from July. Peak pricing at the Grand Highland falls in spring and fall instead.

Check who pours. The Grand Highland runs its own bar, while Vibrations and most ranches have you hire a bartender. Ask before you compare totals.

Book rooms early. Downtown Prescott has limited hotel space, and summer weekends fill with Phoenix visitors. Hold a block when you book the venue. Our venue tour questions cover the rest.

Our venue checklist covers the rest of the shopping list, and what a wedding venue costs explains how venue pricing is structured.
