1. Bella Terre Vineyard & Reception Hall
A vineyard hall in Glenwood that bills itself as "Italy in Iowa", with several indoor ceremony sites. A 10-hour rental is $7,500 Saturday, $6,000 Friday or Sunday and $4,000 on a weekday; most couples spend $7,800 to $16,500 with upgrades. Caterers come from its list of six, a day-of coordinator is required and there is no outside alcohol.
2. Wishing Hills Barn
A temperature-controlled barn near Missouri Valley, north of Council Bluffs, with tables for about 300, an outdoor ceremony site with benches, a bridal loft and bartenders included. Friday or Saturday $5,800, Sunday $5,300, or $7,500 for two days.
3. Castle Unicorn
A castle in Pacific Junction, 20 minutes from Omaha, sold as an all-in package: exclusive use for the ceremony and reception, a buffet dinner from three menu tiers, a DJ, bartenders, centerpieces, getting-ready rooms in the Royal Suite and Castle Tower, and an overnight room for the couple. Hosted bars start at $12 a guest. Package pricing on request.
4. Grand Venue
A modern 4,000-square-foot event space in Council Bluffs with an LED dance floor, ceiling draping, a stage and security included. Saturday $5,500, Friday $4,500, and Monday to Thursday $2,000, with two bartenders and no bar minimum.
