14 Best Wedding Venues in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana (2026 Guide)

Shreveport is the second-most expensive venue market in Louisiana, which surprises people who assume north Louisiana prices like the rural South.

Published venue packages here run a median of $4,995, second only to New Orleans and above Baton Rouge, the Northshore, and Lafayette. The reason is not affluence. It is that Shreveport-Bossier has a casino-driven hospitality industry, a genuine downtown with historic building stock, and a cluster of all-inclusive estates on the Bossier Parish side that price like destination properties.

It also has, in Sainte Terre, the most completely published pricing of any venue in Louisiana. More on that below, because it is worth studying even if you are getting married elsewhere in the state.

Quick context on Shreveport venue pricing

Statewide, published Louisiana wedding venue packages have a median starting price of $4,825, with half the market between $2,850 and $7,488. Shreveport and Bossier City run a median of $4,995 (n=9), with quartiles at $3,500 and $6,500 and a top published package of $16,000.

That is almost exactly the state median, which makes Shreveport the most typically-priced significant market in Louisiana. New Orleans runs high, Lafayette runs low, and Shreveport is what the middle of the state actually looks like.

The all-inclusive estates

1. Sainte Terre

An all-inclusive wedding estate in Benton, in Bossier Parish, with two distinct spaces and a full in-house team covering planning, catering, photography, and day-of service. It publishes more of its pricing than any other venue we found in Louisiana:

• All-inclusive: $16,000 peak, $14,500 off-peak (January, February, September)
• Venue-only: $6,000 for limited 2027 dates
• Catering from $25 per guest, bar from $20 per guest, alcohol-free service $7.50 per guest

That breakdown lets you do something you almost never can: price the same wedding both ways. For 100 guests, the venue-only route at $6,000 plus $25 catering plus $20 bar comes to $10,500 before photography, flowers, music, and coordination. The all-inclusive at $14,500 off-peak includes all of those.

It is also the second-highest published package in Louisiana outside New Orleans, and the off-peak discount of $1,500 is genuinely worth planning around.

2. Caspiana Plantation House

A Southern plantation-style venue near Shreveport with outdoor ceremony spaces and a climate-controlled greenhouse for the reception. Event rental is $5,500, with a $1,500 non-refundable deposit at signing, the balance and event insurance due 30 days out, and a refundable $500 damage deposit.

The greenhouse is the differentiator. In a climate where an outdoor reception is a nine-month gamble, a glass room that looks outdoors and is not is a genuinely smart piece of design.

3. Eleven Events

A Shreveport event center with a grand ballroom, outdoor areas, and a private bridal suite, handling anything from 2 to 300 guests. The range covers micro weddings and full receptions in the same building, which is unusual and useful if your guest count is still moving.

Downtown and historic

4. 601 Spring Street

A historic downtown venue in the George T. Bishop Building with ballrooms and dedicated getting-ready spaces. Downtown Shreveport's building stock is the best argument for marrying here, and this is the clearest example of it.

5. The Remington Suite Hotel & Spa

A historic Shreveport hotel with a rooftop, a ballroom, and a light-filled gallery room, plus a spa on site. The rooftop is rare in this market, and the hotel rooms solve guest lodging in the same transaction.

6. The Fairfield Place

A historic Victorian bed and breakfast and event venue spread across two nearby properties, with on-site lodging and custom catering by an in-house chef. It hosts weddings and rehearsal dinners, and the two-property setup means you can put the rehearsal dinner and the wedding on the same block.

The most intimate and most distinctly Shreveport option on this list.

7. North Market Venue

A vintage-industrial indoor venue with fully published, unusually granular pricing:

• Wedding and reception packages from $2,500
• Micro wedding and elopement packages from $1,500 (Sunday to Thursday, 50 people max)
• Smaller event packages from $450 (Sunday to Thursday)
• Add-ons: planning from $1,000, day-of coordination from $500, event staff from $100 per person
• In-house florals: bridal bouquets from $125, bridesmaid bouquets from $55, boutonnieres from $12, centerpieces from $15, floral backdrops from $50

Capacity 30 to 150, with tables, chairs, and linens included. The florist pricing is the useful part: Louisiana's statewide florist median is $4,200, and being able to build a small floral order line by line from $125 is a real alternative for a budget-conscious wedding.

Clubs, courses, and catering halls

8. Southern Trace Country Club

A Shreveport country club with event coordination and in-house food and beverage, plus golf, tennis, pickleball, and an Olympic pool. The traditional country club wedding, executed properly.

9. The Golf Club at StoneBridge

A Bossier City golf club with indoor and outdoor wedding space and clubhouse views over the course and the Lake of StoneBridge. Capacity 20 to 200. Wedding pricing is not published.

10. Savoie's The Catering Place

A Shreveport venue and catering company with a renovated reception space, a courtyard-style porch, Cajun cuisine, and bridal suite options. Capacity 50 to 250.

The Cajun food is worth noting this far north. Shreveport is culturally closer to East Texas than to Acadiana, and a venue that brings south Louisiana cooking to a north Louisiana wedding is doing something guests will notice.

The unconventional rooms

11. Shreveport Aquarium

A Red River aquarium that hosts events and proposals, with bridal suite and spa specials available for wedding guests through its hotel partner. A genuinely different backdrop, and a strong option for a cocktail-style reception.

12. Artspace

A downtown arts center offering event rental in a gallery-like setting. The right answer for a design-led wedding that would look wrong in a ballroom.

13. Shreveport Convention Center

More than 350,000 square feet of configurable space downtown. This is the answer for a very large wedding, a multi-day cultural celebration, or any guest list that other venues in the market simply cannot hold.

14. Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel

A casino hotel that hosts weddings and receptions in its Grand Ballroom, with nightlife entertainment available in the Celebrity Lounge. Wedding pricing is not published; the lounge table packages that are published run $50 to $550 depending on group size and whether you want a DJ or a live band.

The casino option is a real part of this market, and the on-site rooms and late licence are the practical arguments for it.

How to shop Shreveport venues

Use Sainte Terre's published numbers as your benchmark. Almost no venue in Louisiana breaks out venue-only, catering, and bar as separate published figures. When another Shreveport venue quotes you an all-in number, you now have a reference point for whether it is competitive.

Ask about off-peak. Sainte Terre publishes a $1,500 discount for January, February, and September. Others in this market discount too but do not advertise it. September in north Louisiana is still hot but the storm risk is lower than on the coast, so it is a more reasonable trade here than it would be in New Orleans.

Consider the greenhouse and rooftop options seriously. North Louisiana summers are brutal and its springs are stormy. Caspiana's climate-controlled greenhouse and the Remington's covered rooftop are answers to a real problem rather than amenities.
