12 Best Wedding Venues in Jackson & West Tennessee (2026 Guide)
Jackson is the smallest wedding market we cover in Tennessee, and it behaves like one.
A caveat before any numbers. Only four venues in the Jackson and West Tennessee area publish a starting price we can use. Four is not a market, and we are not going to compute a median from it or tell you what a West Tennessee wedding "costs." What follows describes properties, and where a venue publishes real figures we give them in full, because in a market this size the individual rate cards are the only reliable information.
The good news is that one of those rate cards is the most detailed in the state. Premier Place Event Venue publishes six separate rates covering everything from a weekday afternoon to a full Friday-to-Sunday weekend, and the spread runs from $800 to $3,000. If you are price-sensitive and flexible, that single listing tells you more than a metro median ever would.

The venues that publish a price
Premier Place Event Venue in Jackson is a 264-seat indoor space with on-site parking, a professional sound system and a catering kitchen. Its published ladder:

The detail that matters more than the price: it allows outside caterers and outside beverages. In a small market where most venues bundle food and bar, being able to bring your own is usually worth more than the rental difference. A Friday evening at $1,500 with your own caterer is the cheapest realistic full wedding in this guide.
New Southern Hotel in downtown Jackson publishes a flat $3,500 to rent the entire venue, holding up to 400 guests, with full-day access on weekends, dressing rooms, a catering kitchen, tables and chairs included. A $1,000 deposit holds the date and the $2,500 balance is due 60 days out. For a large West Tennessee wedding it is the obvious room, and 400 capacity at $3,500 is the best capacity-per-dollar figure in the region.
Cogans Farm in Henderson publishes $4,500 for a wedding weekend. It is a 150-acre working farm with an 1850s plantation-style home, two barns and outdoor ceremony space. This is the top of the published market here, and it is buying a weekend rather than a day.
White Oak Weddings and Events in Henderson prices the ceremony and reception separately, which is unusual and worth reading closely. Peak season runs $2,500 for the ceremony and $2,500 for the reception, while off-peak drops the reception to $1,600. Bar service is $5 per person. The pavilion overlooks a five-acre lake with a lit fountain, and it holds up to 200. Booking both in off-peak brings the venue total to $4,100, and the $5 per head bar is among the cheapest published bar rates we have recorded anywhere.
The historic rooms
Magnolia Manor and Chapel in Humboldt is an 1895 restored church with original hand-carved pews and 21 arched windows, holding 50 to 207, with dining and lodging on site. At 4.8 stars over 237 reviews it is the best-reviewed venue in the region, and the chapel-plus-lodging combination is rare this far west.
The Caldwell Inn & Chapel in Milan pairs a restored 1876 chapel with multiple reception spaces and on-site accommodation for the wedding weekend. It carries a 4.9 rating.
The Cumberland House in Jackson is an 1870 Italianate home with a garden pavilion, taking 20 to 250, which covers both an intimate ceremony and a full reception on one property.
The Aeneas Building is a 1916 church converted into a downtown Jackson venue, with a high-ceilinged ballroom, wood floors, tall windows and an outdoor garden.
The farms and the rest
Madison Downs sits on 35-plus acres in Jackson with indoor and outdoor space for up to 260. Ivey Hall is a five-acre multipurpose venue in Jackson taking 100 inside and 150 outside, advertising flexible hourly and day-rate packages, though it does not publish the numbers. Blessing Barn Farm is a purpose-built 4,000 square foot barn on a private 65-acre farm near Jackson.
Crown Winery in Humboldt is a vineyard hosting private events, with wine, craft beer and wood-fired pizza on site. It publishes tasting rates rather than wedding rates, so treat the $45 per person tour figure as unrelated to a wedding quote.
Dumplin's of Jackson is worth knowing about even though it is primarily a caterer: it bills itself as the wedding cake specialist of West Tennessee and runs private banquet rooms, so it can cover reception, catering and cake in one contract.
What to ask on a West Tennessee tour

Ask whether you can bring your own caterer and bar. Premier Place explicitly allows both. Most venues here do not, and in a market with a thin vendor bench the ones that do give you far more control over the total.
Ask for the weekday and off-peak rate even if it is not posted. Premier Place publishes a $800 weekday afternoon against a $2,400 Saturday evening, and White Oak drops its reception rate by $900 off-peak. Assume the flexibility exists elsewhere and ask for it.
Ask what "weekend" includes. Cogans Farm and Premier Place both sell weekend blocks, and the boundaries differ. Premier Place is explicit: Friday noon to Sunday noon. Get the same precision from anyone quoting you a weekend.
Budget for travel on the vendor side. Jackson has enough venues to choose from but a thin supply of specialist wedding vendors. Photographers, florists and DJs are often coming from Memphis, about 90 minutes west, or Nashville, about two hours east, and their travel is a line item. Ask each venue which vendors actually work there regularly.
Expect to call. Ten of the fourteen venues here do not publish a price. Plan on phone calls and visits rather than comparing rate cards from your laptop.
